Applications are currently being sought for the next cohort of Cohen-Hammel Fellowships. To be eligible applicants must be a first-year student at Penn State Berks who intends to graduate from Penn State Berks with one of our 20 baccalaureate degrees. Applicants should have a record of academic excellence and service/leadership activities. Applicants will be evaluated on their academic achievements, their résumé, letters of reference, and an essay about leadership.
Please submit the following materials by March 23, 2025:
- Current résumé – Include any research, service, and leadership experience demonstrating potential to meet program expectations in the future.
- Essay (500 words maximum)
- Describe a potential service/leadership activity that you would like to pursue as a Cohen-Hammel Fellow and how your previous experiences have helped prepare you for this project
- Two letters of recommendation, at least one being from a full-time Penn State Berks faculty or staff member, sent to (email preferred):
